AMC has given the order for more flesh-eating zombies.
The cable outlet has extended the order for the third season of The Walking Dead. The upcoming season will run 16 episodes instead of 13.
Producers have also hired two new writers. According to Zap2it, Nichole Beattie and Sang Kim are joining the Walking Dead team. Beattie previously worked on the defunct AMC drama Rubicon, while Kim wrote for TNT’s Hawthorne.
The second half of season two picks up on February 12.
